U.S. Government (D.C.) basically shut down due to snowstorm

The Federal Government is closed today due to the snowstorm. More than 200,000 federal employees were told to stay home. Do not panic as the White House still held meetings.

According to government officials, this snow day is costing the taxpayer around $100,000,000 in lost productivity.

Of course we all know the challenge the government has with any calculation let alone assigning a value to the daily productivity coming out of D.C.
