Sadly, Congress will once again raise the debt ceilling and dump in on our grandchildren. It remains morally criminal that the "adult generations" remain fiscally irresponsible at our grandchildrens' peril.
Most recent debt ceiling increase: February 12, 2010 (P.L. 111-139) raising the debt ceiling by $1.9 trillion to $14.294 trillion.
