Dylan Ratigan is mad as hell, is on a roll and grandchildren give Dylan a standing ovation

Huffington Post
August 9, 2011
By Dylan Ratigan

Yesterday, on TV, I exploded. I spent two minutes giving a primal yell at our political system, demanding the extraction of our money and dignity end. It was my most heartfelt and emotional moment on television, ever.

And the emails poured in. I hit a chord, because it's something we all feel. Take a look.

With the markets in turmoil and the global financial architecture groaning under the weight of fraud and corruption, it's a good time to think about what leadership would look like. Believe it or not, we have had good leadership, purpose, integrity, and aligned interests in this country.

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy faced a dilemma -- how could he direct our intense competitive passion with the Soviet Union in a direction other than war? The answer was his call for America to beat the Soviets to the moon. Kennedy understood power; if he did not lead us towards peaceful productive competition, that same animus would have turned violent (see this key memo on the real rationale for the space race). So he took the passion and focus of our society, the technology of war and missiles, and turned it into a great mission to explore space. He gave us a shared goal.

But that's not the full story. Kennedy also demanded we use the finest scientists and engineers to design the rockets, and made sure that the path to the moon was based on the best possible solution to get there. For large rocket boosters, he was open to chemical, nuclear, liquid fuels, or any combination. He did not put a commission of astrologers in charge, and he did not put political cronies with no scientific background in charge of designing the rockets.

We had a shared goal, and we had a problem-solving process with integrity and aligned interests. Kennedy was the leader of this initiative, but Americans at that time, possibly because of a shared experience in World War II, had a shared purpose. They believed in prosperity as a goal, and they had a shared set of problem solving values to get there. They believed in education, in health and welfare, in mutual security, in dignified work and in Americans making things. The moon shot didn't just avoid war with the Soviets, it created the largest surge of American students into math and science in history.

Today, we face the same demons as decades past. We have passion, and focus, and we want to compete. What we lack is a set of shared prosperity goals, and a shared problem solving values to get there. There's no consensus, for instance, on the need to solve the problem of climate change. But even where we have some consensus, say on creating jobs, there's no integrity or aligned interests in how we're approaching the problem. It's well-known in DC among lobbying firms that every policy initiative must be wrapped in the shared goal of creating jobs. It's unclear whether anyone there has that as an actual goal, but even if they did, there's no integrity in the way they are going about creating jobs. We still trust the same corrupted economic establishment, an establishment with no ethos of the importance of problem solving. Astrologers (like S&P) are in charge of job creation.

So now we are locked in a war of ideas and mechanics in a battle for power. But power to what end? The political solutions proposed by DC today are the opposite of Kennedy's moonshot. We are taking our collective passion and focus and turning it toward manipulating power for the self-preservation of a few instead of working together towards shared goals with shared values knowing our ideas and mechanics will change as long as we try to get there.

Whether it's full employment, clean energy, building a bridge, whatever -- there's no mutual consent to a set of shared goals, integrity on how to achieve them, or aligned interests. Even where there are policy discussions on, say, how to cut our debt load, it is the opinions of discredited ratings agencies that seem to matter. So our choices are organized around austerity measures that we know will not cut debt loads. Again, it's using astrology to get to the moon.

I've realized, over time, that it isn't policy ideas we need. We need, as citizens, a shared purpose. And we need a commitment to integrity of process, and aligned interests so the incentives exist for all of us to contribute. You can talk to billionaires -- and I have -- who are scared for their children, for their country, and for the world. And if billionaires can't create the changes we need in the machine, if Congress can't, if the President can't, then we must look to ourselves.

When Kennedy called for the country to go to the moon, he said that "no single space project will be more impressive to mankind... and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish." The difficulty and expense were great problems to overcome, not reasons to shrink from greatness. He said we would experiment with different rocket technology, "until certain which is superior." Every engineer, politician, and bureaucrat focused on the overall goal -- not how to look like America was getting to the moon to get power and credit, but how to actually do it. And it was not his project, or even the project of the astronauts who went there. "It will not," he said, "be one man going to the moon... it will be an entire nation. For all of us must work to put him there."

This is shared purpose -- Americans paid taxes, worked on rockets, trained as astronauts, cleaned NASA buildings, or did whatever they could do -- to get each one of us to the moon using shared values to solve problems that got us closer to our objective. Later on, the space station in the 1970s, using even more advanced technology that could have been used for war and weaponry, helped us develop a new cooperative posture with the Soviet Union, cooling off the Cold War. This remarkable problem-solving value set helped create not just leadership in the space program, but the technological spinoffs we enjoy today.

This is the spirit we need today. We need to fight against the great ideological machine that lacks purpose, lacks integrity, and lacks aligned interests. The first step is to recognize our own place in it. If we believe that our problems are all due to the Tea Party, or Obama, or corporate power brokers, or liberals, then we're lacking the integrity necessary to reach any goal. The reality is, by boxing ourselves into a tribal two-party state, we are all part of the machine. And so, in order to change it, we must simply change our own minds. We must reorient our own ways of thinking, to a leadership driven model of citizenship. It isn't enough, or even necessarily important, to care about which politician is in charge. We must seek within our own lives and our own politics, food, culture, families, and schools, values. We must share a set of prosperity goals -- full employment, clean energy, patient driven health care, high-quality universal education -- and push our leaders and ourselves to achieve them.

Ultimately, peace and prosperity will not be made because we get rid of the animal instincts within us, the competitiveness, the passion, the need to argue. It will happen because we will use those instincts, as we did with the moonshot, to build a society that lets us take care of each other and solve our problems. And so we must figure out how to stop giving our consent and legitimacy to an unthinking mechanical beast that runs our lives, a beast which enslaves us to accounting mechanisms like debt ceilings instead of the shared prosperity we seek as a culture and society. We must figure out how to restore the integrity necessary to actually solve our problems and we must understand how to align all of our interests so we each have the incentives to solve them. That way, we can ensure our bridges don't fall down and our job creation initiatives actually create jobs.

I have no doubt that by rededicating ourselves, another moonshot is inevitable. That's just what happens when problem-solving people dedicate themselves to prosperity as a goal, make sure that integrity is the keystone of how they achieve it, and align their interests so it is doable.

Dylan Ratigan is made as hell.

We’ve got a real problem…this is a mathematical fact. Tens of trillions of dollars are being extracted from the United States of America. Democrats aren’t doing it, republicans aren’t doing it, an entire integrated system, banking, trade and taxation, created by both parties over a period of two decades is at work on our entire country right now.

Why the Market Gods are Angry (Dylan Ratigan)

"We have a broken financial system, and capitalism
has been broken in this country for some time,"

Huffington Post
By Dylan Ratigan
August 4, 2011

For nine of the last ten days, the Dow has been dropping, concluding with a 500 point drop, our biggest sell-off in two years.

What happened?

A combination of bad economic data from Europe and the US validated the market fears that Western governments lack the integrity to solve problems and meet global economic challenges.

We are witnessing well-informed investors conclude future employment and production in the West is in jeopardy as a result of the governments' apparent inability to solve problems. They are seeking to reduce their exposure to the future production of Western countries because it does not appear that these governments can deal with expectations of sustained unemployment and diminished prosperity in a way that is constructive.

"We have a broken financial system, and capitalism has been broken in this country for some time," said Seattle-based hedge fund investor Bill Fleckenstein. "Folks need to take a step back and realize that this reaction that happened today was not a reaction to the debt ceiling. We've done that dance many times before."

Data released on Monday showed that manufacturing activity in the US economy is rapidly dropping. Today Italian bonds blew up on a risk the Italian government won't be able to pay its debts. Tomorrow the assumption is that there will be yet another tepid jobs report.

And yet, the US Congress is engaged in an absurd battle about whether air traffic controllers should be paid and our president is planning a fundraising bus tour for his birthday (By the way, happy birthday Mr. President).

Is it any wonder that global investors are skeptical of American prospects for employment and prosperity? Some people ask, why today? It's not like these problems are new. I think of it as water being heated up. It's water until it hits 212 degrees, at which point it turns to steam.

Any other country in this situation would be in trouble. However, because we print the dollar, which is the global standard (or "reserve currency"), we get a stay of execution. It's why despite all of this, our government can still borrow money cheaply. This ability to borrow is a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because it prevents a more precipitous exit from America and buys us time to fix our problems. It's a curse because it enables us to continue on this reckless path.

Let's hope that this relative market pinprick got someone's attention at the White House, or on the tour bus. Because the market's tendency is to ratchet up the pain for those who fail to recognize its message.

"Over here, [Federal Reserve Chairman] Ben Bernanke stopped QE2 and has convinced people that he has their back. Now, they've got a gun to his head and the markets are saying 'give us more QE3 or we'll melt the markets down by Wednesday. The markets are going to force the politicians to deal with these problems... we have to admit these things and solve these things."

Will Obama tell us to keep shopping? (Dylan Ratigan)

Huffington Post
May 4, 2011
By Dylan Ratigan

It's hard, even today, to really remember the carnage of 9/11, the sense of piercing fear in what had been a placid lake of prosperity. At that moment, anything great and anything terrible was possible. People remember him with a bullhorn on top of rubble, but President George W. Bush also prevented innumerable hate crimes by simply saying that Islam is a religion of peace. That sentiment represented the best of America. But then, he gave yet another clarion call, which was more important than his call for tolerance -- go shopping.

That was his moment, and that was his prescription for America. Go shopping. Now Obama has his moment, a moment richly earned by his security strategy. What will he use it for? It isn't clear. The forces of the status quo are powerful. This past weekend, Seth Meyers presided over a popularity contest between a birther-hugging cynic, Donald Trump, and the President, Barack Obama. It was DC's version of a Royal Wedding.

But then, on Sunday night, President Obama announced that Navy SEALS had delivered two bullets to Osama Bin Laden. Flag-waving throngs gathered outside the White House and in New York City to celebrate, clambering up trees and expressing joyful patriotism and exuberance. Others were more somber, remembering that death, even for one's enemies, is not to be welcomed lightly.

But I listened to our president, the one who only the day before had been throwing around amiable jokes about the political establishment. He said something that stuck with me, and should stick with all of us.

And tonight, let us think back to the sense of unity that prevailed on 9/11. I know that it has, at times, frayed. Yet today's achievement is a testament to the greatness of our country and the determination of the American people.

The cause of securing our country is not complete. But tonight, we are once again reminded that America can do whatever we set our mind to.

If this is true, and I believe it is, then we have much to do. If we can do whatever we set our minds to, then we should not be held back in our attempt to ending the banking oligarchy strangling our economy. If it is true that our struggle is one for "equality for all our citizens," as the president said, then we should end our poisonous petro-political path. As Glenn Hurowitz said, "now that we've killed Osama, let's kill oil." If it is the case that we up for our values abroad, then let's leave Afghanistan and end our highly destructive war on drugs.

This is now a moment. George W. Bush used his moment on behalf of the forces of the status quo. He told us, to go shopping.

Is the era of shopping over?

Ron Paul Tells Dylan Ratigan: Bernanke Destined to Destroy Value of the U.S. Dollar

April 27, 2011
The Dylan Ratigan Show

Ron Paul tells Dylan Ratigan that Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve are simply incapable of turning the economy around. He also states that Bernanke's support of a strong dollar policy is just talk. Particularly humorous is Ron Paul's noting the Federal Reserve's belief that prices of commodities go up for all kinds of reasons but never due to the Federal Reserve Monetary Policies.

Dylan Ratigan/Ron Paul Discuss Massive U.S. Deficit and Who will step to the plate on behalf of children/grandchildren?

Who will step up for the future of this country?

Grandpa: Who will step up for the
future of our children and grandchildren???!!!

March 8, 2011
Dylan Ratigan continues his passionate plea for politicians to come to grips with the reality of our fiscal demise.

Well, record debt, a bleeding job market, two very costly wars, unsustainable health costs, just a few of the massive and rather expensive problems our country currently faces, and here, of course, is Washington's plan to deal with it.

They start by wasting a few months on a false budget debate that doesn't address the problems. now we spend another day today waiting for votes on the two partisan plans that have no chance of passage. when it's all done, we'll wind up right back at the starting line facing a government shutdown, but not facing the facts.

Neither party offering cuts that amount to anything more than a drop in the bucket. you just have to look at the numbers to see it. the house-passed gop bill cuts spending by a mere $61 billion. Remember, we have trillion-dollar problems that amounts to 4.3% of our total debt. and the only more insulting plan when it comes to cutting comes from the democrats, who offer cuts amounting to, yes, 0.4%. meantime, neither tackles the trillion-dollar problems that are sucking money out of our country.

The money as it leaves pays off a very small group of special interests, and instead of dealing with this problem, we continue to print more money to cover up the theft. so, who in washington will face the facts? Who will step up for the future of this country?

Dylan Ratigan: Where are the handcuffs? Fraud in the financial system. Oh, by the way, Angelo Mozilo WALKS!!

February 17, 2011 on the Dylan Ratigan Show: Where are the handcuffs? Thousands jailed during the S and L crisis. Why not know? Charles Ferguson, director of the "Inside Job" share with Dylan Ratigan that everyone within the Obama Administration refused an interview request for the "Inside Job" documentary.

If this interview didn't get you blood boiling, how about news the very next day!

Mozilo's actions in the mortgage meltdown
which led to $67.5-million settlement against him
did not amount to criminal wrongdoing,
federal prosecutors have determined

Los Angeles Times
February 18, 2011
By E. Scott Reckard

As the former chairman of Countrywide Financial Corp., Mozilo helped fuel the boom in risky subprime loans that led to the crippling of the banking industry and the near-collapse of the financial system.

A federal grand jury in Los Angeles began probing Mozilo in 2008, and four months ago he agreed to pay a $22.5-million fine and to repay $45 million in what the government said were ill-gotten gains to former Countrywide shareholders. The payments settled a civil action by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

But the criminal investigation has wound down without indictments of Mozilo or others at his Calabasas company, according to people familiar with both the prosecution and the defense teams, all of whom spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter.

"Sometimes the public thinks all you have to do is to indict someone and that's it," one of the federal sources said. "But you have to be able to prove your case, and it can be worse losing a case than not bringing one at all."

The 72-year-old Mozilo hung up the phone when contacted for comment at his home in the Lake Sherwood golf community of Ventura County.

The criminal investigation into Mozilo was never announced publicly, and as a rule federal prosecutors make no formal announcement when such cases are closed.

One defense attorney, however, said the government would probably keep a close watch on civil litigation by Countrywide shareholders against Mozilo and could still decide to bring charges depending on what develops in those cases.

"He may have to testify, and you never know what may come up," the attorney said.

Asst. U.S. Atty. Stephen A. Cazares, who spearheaded the Countrywide criminal probe, could not be reached for comment. A spokesman for U.S. Atty. Andre Birotte Jr. said the office would have no comment "at this time." If you dare to care, keep reading

Federal prosecutors have shelved a criminal investigation of Angelo R. Mozilo after determining that his actions in the mortgage meltdown — which led to $67.5-million settlement against him — did not amount to criminal wrongdoing.

David Stockman on Dylan Ratigan: Administration and Congress are Fiscally Cowardice

David Stockman: Administration and Congress as Fiscally Cowardice

February 17, 2011

Former Budget Director David Stockman on Dylan Ratigan Show (2/15/11) discussing Obama's very discouraging 2012 budget. David "grandchild friendly" Stockman explains how Obama and Congress can end the cycle of passing debt to future generations.

Mr. Stockman refers to the Administration and Congress as Fiscally Cowardice and offers an almost insanely simplistic short list to reign in debt: Revenue/Entitlements/Defense (RED). David is appalled with $7.5 trillion for defense/security spending over the next 8 years and emphatically points out that the U.S. no longer has Industrial Enemies. The United States has 11 carrier battle groups out to sea at a cost of $10's of billions while China has ZERO and Russia has ONE and it is 25 years old. It begs the question...WHY!!!

David Stockman refers to economic projections as "pie in the sky" while noting a transaction tax on trading stocks would raise a significant amount of revenue with no foul given the majority of trading is simply daily churning of stocks by robots.

Show starts with a President Obama clip from his recent press conference in which Obama deems the media impatient..."If it does not happen today..."

For the record Mr. Obama, $14+ trillion in debt is clearly an accumulation of thousands of days of fiscal irresponsibility. It would take but a single day for you and your standing ovation peers to flip the focus switch to children and grandchildren. They deserve a fair shot at an equitable playing field.

Children get a time out for unacceptable behavior and I recommend the same for you and the ovation crowd. A one day time out to reflect and acknowledge the burden all of you have placed on our grandchildren while making a commitment to focus on what is in their best interest.

Go ahead, give it a try, it is amazing what can be accomplished in a day. Just think about what a 1 day old newborn achieves in their first 24 hours. Not asking for much Mr. President, JUST CHANGE GRANDCHILDREN CAN BELIEVE IN.

Dylan Ratigan is Fed Up, Dylan starts the bonfire and Bernie Sanders Provides a Cord of Wood

Dylan Ratigan and Senator Bernie Sanders are both Fed Up with the fact that not one person connected with mortgage fraud has been prosecuted. Bernie Sanders notes while 42,000 U.S. factories closed during a 10 year period, Wall Street Banks invented toxic financial products in lieu of investing in American businesses that actually make something.

Bernie adds more wood to Dylan's bonfire pointing out that the 4 largest financial institutions in America hold assets equal to 1/2 of the country's entire GDP. They also account for 1/2 of all mortgages and 2/3 of all credit cards. Bernie points what many of us have asked ourselves; does the government regulate Wall Street or is Wall Street regulating the government?

Grab a cold one as Dylan is not a happy camper!

February 4, 2011
Dylan Ratigan and Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto discuss why several states are suing Bank of America over mortgage and consumer fraud.

3,800 bankers went to jail resulting from the S and L crisis and today, not one bankster has seen a jail cell during this massive mortgage fraud commited by Wall Street Banks. Link to other Dylan Ratigan videos addressing the very same topic.

Dylan Ratigan and Bill Fleckenstein Discuss Bernanke's Devastating Impact from Money Printing

Dylan Ratigan and Bill Fleckenstein discuss the impact of U.S. money printing is having on the poorest people on the globe including paying 80% of their income for food. Bernanke and the Federal Reserve will not admit to their mistakes and continue to print money in an effort to cover up the bailout of the banks and Wall Street. The U.S. government continues to inflate bubbles; dot.com, housing and now commodities including food.

Just take a minute and ponder the impact on our way of life if we in the U.S. had to spend 25% of our income to feed our family let alone 80%.

JPMorgan Chase: Operate with the highest standards of integrity, unless dealing w/military families

Dylan Ratigan on JPMorgan Chase foreclosing on U.S. active duty service personnel. Nobody at JPMorgan cared to listen. JPMorgan Chase admitted overcharging thousands of military families for the mortgages, including families of troops in combat overseas.

JPMorgan Chase's business principles include:
  • Operate with the highest standards of integrity
  • Be open and honest with ourselves, our colleagues, our shareholders and our communities
  • Foster an environment of respect and inclusiveness
Yes, JPMorgan Chase received $25 billion of TARP bailout dollars and is clearly a friend a "friend" of President Obama:

"You know, keep in mind, though there are a lot of banks that are actually pretty well managed, JPMorgan being a good example, Jamie Dimon, the CEO there, I don't think should be punished for doing a pretty good job managing an enormous portfolio."

Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Board of Directors and was one of the thirteen members of The Business Council to meet with President Obama.

Finally. let's not forget, Jamie Dimon in an era of To Big To Fail (while getting bigger), with the assistance of the U.S. Federal Government, acquired Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual.

t's really nice having friends in high places. Yes, this is the same organization that admitted overcharging thousands of military families for the mortgages, including families of troops in combat overseas. Oh, before I forget, while many active duty service personnel are dodging bullets and IED's, JPMorgan Chase just reported a $4.8 billion in 4th Quarter profits.

Dylan Ratigan speaks with a homeonwer that sued Bank of America and won (A real life David and Goliath Story)

January 7, 2011
Dylan Ratigan recaps yet another Bank of America debacle with a homeowner that took Bank of America to court and won. Bank of America collected 18 months of reduced mortgage payments and then informed the homeowner that he did not qualify.

Alan (forensic real estate) explained that this is not uncommon, as the banks collect a reduced mortgage amount in order to pay real estate taxes and insurance knowing that they intend to foreclose. Alan points out that Bank of America collects the payments to basically cover their inventory expenses while delaying the foreclosure process.

And to think former Treasury Secretary told America we would be on Red Alert if these fine banking institutions were not bailed out.

Dylan Ratigan and Ron Paul Discussing U.S. Debt and Pending Debt Ceiling Increase

Dylan Ratigan discusses current level of U.S. Debt with Ron Paul and the upcoming vote to increase the Debt Ceiling. Ron Paul believes Bernanke's program is based on the U.S. defaulting. Bernanke wants to destroy peoples' savings via slamming the value of the U.S. Dollar.

Ron Paul also addresses the issues facing young adults and their need to position themselves to be more self sufficient for their future as the government clearly can't continue down the increased debt path. All empires end due to debt levels that can't be paid.

David Stockman on Dyan Ratigan (MUST WATCH TV)

Dylan Ratigan discusses Bush Tax cuts extension with David Stockman including David's reference to Wall Street and our stock market as a Casino.

Comments/editorial courtesy of Zero Hedge as they do it best!
After recently debunking the economic "recovery's" flagrantly misrepresented employment data, the OMB's David Stockman makes a third appearance in as many months, this time on Dylan Ratigan. And as always, it is a must see: key soundbite:

"We have had a Fed engineered serial bubble, that has created the appearance of wealth, that has caused people to consume beyond their means through borrowing, and that has flushed the income and wealth of our society up to the top, as a result of the Fed turning the financial markets into a casino.

These are pure casinos, they are not capital markets, they are not adding to the productive capacity of our economy, they simply are a bunch of robots trading with each other by the millisecond as a result of the Fed giving them zero cost overnight money, and giving them all kinds of hand signals on what to front-run."

It is almost as if Stockman reads Zero Hedge... And he continues: "The Fed is destroying prosperity by funding demand that we can't support with earnings and productions, causing massive current accounts deficits and the flow of funds overseas and the build up in China, OPEC and Korea of massive dollar reserves which is a totally unsustainable, unsupportable system, and we are coming near the edge of where that can continue to remain stable."

Ironically, Stockman is spot one when he notes that America incurred enough debt to have effectively LBOed itself. The net result, as every PE principal knows all too well, is a husk of an entity, whose most valuable assets have been bled dry.

At this point, the last straw for America will be the inevitable rise in interest rates (at some point over the next five years, the Fed and Treasury will have to sell a combined $5 trillion in debt - that alone will destroy the supply/demand equilibrium and send rates surging) which will result in either debt repudiation or outright bankruptcy. The only good outcome is that the great experiment of LBOing America by the kleptocratic elite is coming to its sad conclusion.

P. J. O'Rourke shares his disgust with politicians with Dylan Ratigan

P. J. O'Rourke entertains Dylan Ratigan as P. J. shares his disgust of Democrats and repulsion of Republicans.

Ancillary Musings from P.J. O'Rourke:

Anyway, no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power.

Cleanliness becomes more important when godliness is unlikely.

Feeling good about government is like looking on the bright side of any catastrophe. When you quit looking on the bright side, the catastrophe is still there.

Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.

The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it.

You know your children are growing up when they stop asking you where they came from and refuse to tell you where they're going.

Professor Bill Black: There were millions of acts of fraud; Fire Eric Holder, Bernanke and Geithner

Dylan Ratigan and Professor Bill Black
Two of the most grandchildren friendly
humans on the planet

Professor Bill Black on Dylan Ratigan:
"Credit Suisse says that by 2006 49% of all mortgage originations were liars loans. When independent folks study fraud, it is in the 80-90% fraud range. That means there were millions of acts of fraud. Those loan frauds occurred because the banks created incentive structure for the loan brokers to bring them the absolute worst of the worst loans, and to lie on the application forms...

These frauds came from the banks, and they propagated through the system through a series of echo epidemics...This fraud spread through the system and that's why we have a crisis in foreclosures. This stems from the underlying fraud by the lenders in mortgage loans to the tune of well over a million cases a year by 2005."

The Fed should not be in charge of any investigation into mortgage fraud, due to its "massive" conflict of interest, to the tune of $1.5 trillion in MBS/agencies held on the Fed's books, which would be immediately null and voided if rampant MBS fraud is indeed uncovered.

Bill Black's conclusion: "fire Holder, fire Geithner, fire Bernanke, get people in who will enforce the rule of law." (Eric Holder, Attorney General)
