Goldman Sachs is synonymous with Pandora’s Box (technically Pandora’s Jar)

Goldman Sachs is synonymous with Pandora’s Box (technically Pandora’s Jar) as when opened, it unleashed many terrible things on mankind including ills, strife and sickness. One could argue that Lloyd Blankfein is the modern day version of Pandora who has unleashed evil on mankind under the guise of “doing God’s work”.

As Paul Volcker aptly stated; “the only useful banking innovation during the past 20 years was the invention of the ATM”.

Maybe, just maybe, the SEC has the tools to seal Pandora’s Box while congress finally drafts and passes a financial reform bill with teeth. Time will tell and in my humble opinion, Goldman Sachs is just the tip of this fraud iceberg. I doubt any Wall Street executive was partaking in the Hamptons backyard barbeque this weekend. Unfortunately, the SEC has no authority to bring criminal charges so once again, a hefty fine could be paid, admit nothing and back to The Hamptons for Wall Street.

Grandpa predicts that by Summer Solstice (June 21st), not less than 3 criminal lawsuits will be filed against Goldman Sachs and by Autumnal Equinox (September 22nd) at least two other Wall Street firms and/or prominent Hedge Funds will be basking in the limelight with Mr. Blankfein.
